Please note that the series will only proceed if we have enough registrations by Friday February 7th, so if you are keen to come, register early and consider inviting a friend to register too!
Feb 11 - Gardening P1 -The basics of gardening including working with soil and the elements and a demonstration of how to grow from seed.
Feb 18 - Food Choices - Food is so central to life - we’ll consider what food choices could be healthier for us and the planet.
Feb 25 - Gardening P2 -Natural ways to fertilise our gardens and maintain healthy crops, with some hands-on outdoor activities, weather permitting
Mar 4 - Protecting Water - Learn about where our water comes from, and how we can use it more efficiently and avoid pollution
Mar 11 - Reducing Waste - Learn about Council’s resource recovery systems and other ways we can reduce, reuse and recycle stuff
Mar 18 - Commute Sustainably - Consider different ways we could travel more sustainably including active and low-carbon travel.
Mar 25 - Resilience & Disaster Preparation - First hand tips and insights will be shared about the realities of living through a disaster and ways to get through.
Apr 1 - Healthier Home - Lots of tips, information and advice about ways to save energy while having a warmer, drier and healthier home
